I put my notebook in for repair at Garthdee PC World Aberdeen 6 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back. I cant understand why this is taking so long as it was only going to get a complete overhaul. They did phone me after a week to say that they needed to completely wipe the system of the note book which I gave them permission to do. But to please back up my photos and videos which was agreed. I am still waiting to hear when I can pick up my notebook/ laptop. I thought I would have had it back by now. Really angry about this as I need it back. I phoned three weeks ago to enquire if it was fixed and the assistant couldn't find it on the system.I just hope they haven't lost it.He told me just to wait on till they get in touch.But I have had no word back.
