Love my Starbucks.... hate connswater sb. Religiously went here every morning on my way to work, took a couple of days for them to get my drink right at the start, but the 6.30am staff got it right and kept it right! Moved to another site for work and use SB lisburn Road now BUT have went at weekends to connswater. The staff are rude, don’t care if your drink is right, when you let them know it is not what you ordered they argue. It is my drink, I know the way I like it, just make it the way I ask for it, not the way you THINK it should be made. I don’t mind paying £4.05 for my coffee if it is how I order it, but the last 5 times have been dire. First 3 of these I asked them to remake it as it was not what I asked for, got a ‘tut’ or a mutter under the breath, the remake wasn’t much better on any of the occasions but was drinkable. On the 4th visit they refused to remake it and argued that what I ordered was actually something else. So gave it one last shot yesterday, asked for my mocha frappe to be made with espresso not the cold frappe roast that is bitter and rank. Same as I always do. What do I get? A mocha frappe with no frappe and no espresso, a block of ice with nothing sweet and bitter cold rank over brewed coffee left to sit for 2 days. Unfortunately when I tried to tell the uninterested, too busy talking to other staff, idiot barista she shrugged and closed the window. So that is me done with SB connswater and a seriously strong worded email to corporate, as the crappy service and rude staff who serve the nastiest drinks ever , are giving this SB store a really bad name. Have to say Tim Hortons looks great right now and the staff are lovely.
