The staff weren't helpful at all! They might benefit from retraining. The staff were too busy 'gossiping' and didn't offer service to their customers.
I didn't receive any satisfaction with customer service. The staff didn't care about the customers; they weren't busy, so they should have had time to talk to customers about their particular needs.
I need to visit again before I am able to comment. The customer service wasn't brilliant, when I visited Card Factory at Talke Pits a couple of weeks ago but, I may meet a 'dishy gentleman' upon my next visit.
The Manager is controlling and blames new, vulnerable members of staff for being 'late,' either because he fancied them or wants to have an excuse to dismiss them. The females, in question, have lost a great deal of confidence and are unable to apply for paid work.
Staff are very often made to feel blamed for the errors of the 'Acting Managers'. The Assistant Manager at Festival Park wasn't conciliatory during my employment and, neither was I 'late' for work, during her absence. Disciplinary proceedings were commenced by Jamie Stroud, a Manager from Talke Pits. The Manager in question either wanted me 'under his thumb,' or, he wanted me to leave anyway. Beware ladies!
Poor choice of shops.
A good variety of shops in a bright, clean environment. For the first time I visited the toilets and thought how spacious and clean they appeared - until I discovered the 'wet' toilet seat and decided to raise it. Shock, horror - the underneath if the toilet seat had obviously not been cleaned in weeks (probably longer) - it was well browned with urine - disgusting. Whoever claims to be cleaning them is just having a quick wipe round and not cleaning them properly - disgusting. This level of urine staining doesn't happen quickly. I was appalled and disappointed after the initial good impression.
