I visited the store this past weekend and the assistants were very unfriendly. One told me a pack of lies. He also said they stop serving customers 30 minutes before the store closes due to the length of time it takes to complete credit rating checks and yet there are no signs or notices in the shop to let customers know that this is their policy. The young female assistant ignored me and stood talking to the security. She walked off to the back of the store to continue to talk to other staff members. Then the security guard told me to wait until someone comes to me. After waiting a long time, I called out to a male assistant who told me a bunch of lies about the phone. I told him that I will be writing this review and that it is a shame that an organisation such as Samsung has such disappointing staff. Awful and sad experience.
The Samsung support team in Highcross is USELESS and DECEIVING. My Samsung Galaxy A51 failed and I took it to the Samsung shop in Highcross. They made me pay £40 in case the repair was not included in the warranty. It was included because it was a manufacturer problem, but I never saw the £40 again. The device was beyond repair, so they gave me a replacement. The whole process took 3 months, I did not have a phone for 3 months, no matter how much I called or how many emails I sent. I used to work in a technical service, and I have never seen anything like this: huge delays, long waiting time or queues in the phone, over a week to reply an email… After 3 months, I received my replacement, a Galaxy A72. It lasted 4 months. One day suddenly it would not charge. I went to the Samsung support team in Highcross again – I know, my mistake. They say that since the phone has two hits it is no longer under warranty. The hits are superficial, two small scratch in the lateral of the phone, almost imperceptible and not at all the cause of the failing because after them the phone was just fine. Hopefully, the Citizens Advice people are so helpful, and they proved that this is a LIE. THE WORST SUPPORT TEAM EVER. And Samsung phones a bit faulty…
Problem with Google pay failure on my S28. Agent spent considerable time checking through the phone, but failed to find any faults. The following day Google pay "Not set up" comment had gone and all working again. Could be due to delayed action from the check or Google had finally woken up to the fact that many people have this problem. Assistant helpful and patient.
I went into the shop while staying in Leicester on business to look at tablets. Sian, one of the assistants in the shop helped with details of the tablets and also, at my request, took me through the TVs, comparing their various features. She was clear in her explanations and was very helpful indeed.
