The last 3 times I've been to Sainsbury's in Intu Derby I've arrived at the manned checkouts with a full basket only to find they were all closed. I don't like self service checkouts so I'm afraid I abandoned my much needed goodies the first 2 times. The 3rd time I decided to 'have a go' at the self service checkout, but unfortunately I immediately hit a problem as it didn't want to accept my own bags ! I waited for a while for someone to help, but sadly I ended up walking away empty handed yet again :( Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I appreciate contact with an actual person at a manned checkout
